Roots Grow Wings, the Loudoun County chapter of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is
inspiring a life-long love of learning by fostering greater connections and compassion through reading.
By establishing a library in every child’s home, together we will nurture their roots to grow wings!
Our deepest gratitude to CloudHQ for their generous donation of $10,000. CloudHQ is a global data center with a campus in Loudoun County.
Their support will provide a full year of monthly books to 322 children under the age of five in qualifying Loudoun County zip codes. Over the course of the year, this contribution will result in the gifting of more than 3,800 books—each one a powerful tool for literacy and early childhood development.

Dolly Parton’s
Imagination Library
Dolly Parton believes that if you can read, you can do anything, dream anything, and be anything. Through her Imagination Library program, she wants to ensure all children have books at home, regardless of the environment in which they live.
The Imagination Library does include some bilingual (English/Spanish) books for children living in the U.S., and we are always working to expand that selection. You can see a full list of this year’s books, including the bilingual options, by visiting the Imagination Library website.
Bilingual Books
“The seeds of dreams are often found in books and the seeds you help plant in your community can grow across the world.”
